Hi! I've been working with ceramics for three years, but art has always been part of my life. I studied painting, and for over 16 years I've been working in design. Design is my profession and my way of seeing the world. Ceramics is its natural extension: here, too, proportion and detail matter, just in three dimensions.
St.Greta lets me step outside the digital world and create more tangible objects – ones you can touch, use and experience. Working with clay allows me to slow down, pause and engage my senses in the creative process.
I'm inspired by both nature and culture, which is why my work brings together organic forms, bold colours, experimental glazes and varied textures. I like combining seemingly different elements and experimenting, creating objects that are functional but also have a character of their own.
Every St.Greta piece is handmade in Kraków and each one is a little different – with its own story, traces of the process and small imperfections that make it more than just another identical object.
